Abstract

Objective To investigate the pesticides residuces in vegetables and to provide the basis for surveillance and control of vegetables safety. Methods 282 vegetable samples were collected from markets in 2011. The contents of residues of organophosphorous pesticide,carbamate,organochlorine and pyrethroid were detected according to the methods of food hygienic analysis- Physical and chemical section( GB / T 5009-2003). Results The detection rate and the disqualification rate of 282 vegetables was 93. 97% and 21. 99%. over- standard were founded in different region. The over- standard rates of leafy vegetable group was 32. 35%. The over- standard rates of organophosphorous pesticide was 10. 28%. All sorts of pesticides were found and relevance ratio of Pyrethroid pesticides was highest. Detection of pesticide residues in vegetables showed season changes. Conclusion The monitoring and safe- management in planting and sale process of vegetables should be strengthened to reduce the harm of pesticide residues.
