Abstract

[Methods] In order to provide scientific basis for the safe use of nitenpyram on rice, field trial were carried out in Changsha and Guiyang, degradation dynamics and final residue of nitenpyram 50% SP in rice field were studied by HPLC.[Results] Results showed that the half-life of nitenpyram were 1.84 to 2.00 days in water,2.15 to 2.78 days in soil and 4.78 to 4.95 days in paddy respectively.[Conclusions] The final residue of nitenpyram were undetectable under the recommended dose and the highest dose respectively in the harvest unpolished rice.
