Abstract
To evaluate the residue variation and environment security using nitenpyram in rice, the field trials on the dissipation and final residue of nitenpyram 50 % WP were carried out in Changsha,Hangzhou in rice during 2010-2011.The residues of nitenpyram in rice were determined by HPLC.The results showed that nitenpyram dissipated rapidly in paddy water, soil and rice,of which half-life were 5.77 h,28.52 h,1.60-2.09 d,respectively. When nitenpyram 50 % WP was sprayed three times at the recommended dosage in rice field, the final residues of nitenpyram were not detected( 0.05 mg/kg) in the rice, which was safe to eat after 14 days.
