Abstract
[Objective] The accumulation rule of the oxymatrine in Sophora viciifolia was studied.[Method] The accumulation of the oxymatrine in the organs of same Sophora viciifolia plant was tested with High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC).[Results] The results showed that the turning point of the oxymatrine transited from the leaf to the fruit was in May of each year when the young fruit was formed. After the formation of young fruit, the level of 1.1% oxymatrine in leaf was reduced to 0.5% in August, while the initial content of 0.77% oxymatrine in young fruit was continuously increased to 3.6% in ripe fruit.[Conclusion] Sophora davidii leaf was main organ of oxymatrine synthetic and the maturity fruit was main organ of oxymatrine accumulation.
