A Reflection on Creating a Favorable Environment for Innovation Talents in Engineering Universities

As engineering universities undertake the task to foster the future talents in engineering successors,it is a significant part of the nation's technological innovation strategy to bring up the science students' initiative spirit and innovational ability.Presently the innovation education in China is still new and most engineering universities have not yet possessed a favorable environment for innovation talents,and either have the students obtained the quality essential to innovation talents.So we should create a favorable environment for innovation talents more actively,such as creating the cultural environment beneficial to the development of the students' character,suitable for enhancing the humanistic quality for the students, establish a novel teaching team?both capable for teaching and researching,strengthening the research-oriented and pragmatic teaching,designing the multiple training mode including theoretical teaching,research training and discipline competition.
