Zhou Gong and the History of Early Western Zhou Dynasty

Zhou Gong was an essential historical politician in early Western Zhou Dynasty. He assisted Emperor Wu to defeat Emperor Zhou and to destroy Shang Dynasty, helped Emperor Cheng to assume control over his kingdom and then carried out the system of enfeoffment for the cause of peace. He made the law and advoated to run the country with virtue. Thus the great contributions he made to the establishment and development of Western Zhou Dynasty made him as an important politician and thinker in early Western Zhou Dynasty.
