Abstract
Suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) and gene chip are two effective methods developed in recent years, which are used to screen all differential expression genes. However, SSH and gene chip have certain limitation respectively. It will be a perfect clone system when they are coupled with each other to exert their advantages and to make up their disadvantages. So in this article, the fundamentals, advantages and disadvantages of SSH and gene chip, the technique characteristic and the application of SSH coupled with gene chip to rapid identification differential expression genes in plant were reviewed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
