Observation of Therapeutic Effect of Acupuncture on Treating Primary Dysmenorrhea

Abstract

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on treating primary dysmenorrhea. Methods:270 cases with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into the treatment group (210 cases) and the contrast group (60 cases). The contrast group was treated by Novolten and the treatment group by acupuncture. The therapeutic effect of two groups after 3,6 and 12 months were observed respectively. The ache integration after 3 months' treatment, the start time of acesodyne treatment, the variation of last time during the treatment were compared. Results:Compared with Novolten, acupuncture had advantage on the curative effect, the start time and last time of acesodyne treatment and the improvement of ache integration. Conclusion:Acupuncture has good curative effect on treating primary dysmenorrhea.
