Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the blood lead level of children in NingDe city, Fujian , and high-risk factors for lead poisoning of children.Methods The authors investigated the blood lead levels and 32 potentially related factors of 970 healthy children age 0 to 14 years, in NingDe city,Fujian. Results:189 children(19.5%)were fond with a blood lead level≥100 μg/L(the diagnostic criterion of lead poisoning of children).Blood lead level not varied with geographic locations,but highest mean blood lead level was found old children, bad health habit,and children not supple calcium. Conclusions:Children in country exist lead poisoning as thorse in city, good healthy habit and calcium supple are effect methods to reduce blood lead level.
