Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the blood lead level of 0~16years old children in Xuzhou and identify the risk factors of high lead level. [Methods] Blood lead was detected in 2 012 healthy children in Xuzhou. The children were asked to answer a questionnaire concerning personal life, family members and living conditions. [Results] The mean blood lead level was(65.95±29.32)μg/L. The incidence of lead poisoning was 13.22%. Blood lead lever was sharply higher in 6~10years than norm, boy’s was more than girl’s and city’s was more than country’s a few. [Conclusion] Children’s lead poisoning is related to environmental pollution, children’s bad habits, and diet et al.
