Abstract

In this paper,the author introduces a monitoring system based on Xscale PXA270.The system uses USB camera combined with video for Linux to collect video data,which were then encoded in MPEG,and sent to the monitoring end by Ethernet under the control of the PXA270,to monitor and manage at the monitoring end.
