Abstract
A network video sureillance system based on embedded Linux is presented in this paper. The system adopt embedded Linux andmicro-processor PXA255 based on Xscale architecture,the platform can capture video signal form the USB camera and then transport thesignal to the server through Internet. The driver development of USB devices and the application program of the embedded systems alsopresented in details.
