From Song and Yuan Dynasties,China had began to set up the political institutions and maintain the garrison in Taiwan;Taiwan became China's important seaward defense in the Ming Dynasty;Taiwan had developed faster after is was located as a province of Qing government;then it was ceded to Japan after the Sino-Japanese War;Chinare covered its sovereighty based on theCairo Declaration,Potsdam ProclamationandJapan's unconditional surrenderduring Republican Period.Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory,and this is the historical fact and the norm of international law.
