On the Relationship between the War of China and France and the Separation of Taiwan from Fujian Province

There gradually showed malpractice of administrating system—Taiwan belongs to Fujian Province before the war of China and France,which did not benefit for developing the resources of Taiwan island,having independent defense construction and the building of defense system of Fujian and Taiwan.After the war of China and France,the government of Qing Dynasty lost the battle in Fujian and Taiwall,the defense system of Fujian and Taiwan exposed three deficiency,which became the Starting point of changing the Taiwan administrating system among the governors of Qing Dynasty.After Taiwan became the province,the provincial administrating system solved these deficiency in system,and on the whole it enforced the independent defense power,resisted foreign aggression,upheld the national unity.
