Investigation and Analysis on Mental Health of Freshmen from Particular Families in Medical University

Objective To investigate mental health of freshmen in medical university from particular families.Methods SCL-90 was adopted to make a questionnaire investigation among 190 freshmen in medical university from particular families,and SPSS was adopted for statistic analysis.Results The rate of freshmen with mental health problems in medical university was 33.7%,which was mainly concentrated on obsessive,interpersonal sensitivity,paranoid,anxiety and hostility.The mental health situation of freshmen in medical university was worse than the norm of national youth,and it was also worse than freshmen's in medical university from ordinary families.The differences were significant at phobia from different gender group and at interpersonal relationship from different birthplace.Conclusion Mental health education should be strengthened among freshmen in medical university from particular families.
