Disappearance of Modernity Paradox and Innovation of Social Technology——Reflections on Modernity from the Perspective of Philosophy of Technology

The issue is one of the focuses of this age.Modernity is a value orientation,indicating the basic objective pursued by modernization movement.It is a refinement,summarization and publicization of those basic and important values advocated by this movement.The foundation and basis of lie in historical movement of modernization.Once formed,modernity regulates and restricts the evolution of modernization movement towards modern direction.The focus on is moved from judgment of fact to that of value,which leads modernity to be a problematic issue.If focusing on the positive function of modernity,while neglecting the negative side,the process of Chinese modernization can not be continued and to construct a harmonious society will be a visionary hope.Post-modern world in fact is not and can not be propelled by a force other than modernity,but a necessary result of the inherent nature of modernity.Therefore,so called post-modernity is not the self-negation of modernity,but the improvement,supplementation and promotion of it.Based on the relationship between natural technology and social technology,to tackle the problem of abuse and misuse these two lies in innovation of social technology.
