The Rise of Modernity Criticism in China and Its Trend

Chinese people's attitude towards modernity has transformed from learning modernity to reflexive modernity.From the beginning of the 1970s to the 1980s,we were still in strong pursuit of modernity,but since the 1990s,we have been moving(toward) modernity criticism.At present,Chinese criticism of modernity shows an inherent tendency,which is reflected in the criticism of our own modern culture—it is the self-reflection of modernity. Obviously,such a reflection has established an interactive relation with the criticism of expansion-oriented Western modernity.However,it should be taken into account more closely with the important issues and economy of contemporary China.
