Abstract
Objective:To study the non-invasive positive pressure ventilation for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treatment of respiratory failure.Methods:January 2007 to January 2008 COPD in adult hospitalized patients with respiratory failure,40 cases were non-invasive ventilation therapy.Results:Patients with heart rate,respiratory rate and blood pressure were significantly improved compared with ventilation,ventilatory function after treatment were improved to vary ing degrees.Conclusion:Noninvasive positive pressure ventilation is the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation of hypercapnia and hypoxemia effective measures should be affirmed.
