Abstract
Preparative high-speed counter-current chromatography(HSCCC)was used to separate and purify alion from the aloe.The two-phase solvent system composed of chloroform:methanol:n-butanol:water(4:3:0.28:2,V/V),the upper phase was taken as the stationary phase,and the lower one as the mobile phase.The mobile phase was operated at a flow rate of 2.0mL/min,while the apparatus rotated at 870r/min.Aloin fraction A(96% purity)and B(93% purity)were identified by thin-layer chromatography(TLC)and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).
