Abstract
Objective To explore the expression and significance of Livin proteins in spermatogenesis cell of test-icular infertility. Methods The expression of Livin proteins was detected by immunohistochemical staining SP method in 50 cases of spermatogenesis cell of testicular infertility. At the same time with 10 cases of normal testicular tissue as the control. Results The rate of expression of Livin proteins in 10 cases of normal testicular tissue and 50 cases of sperma-togenesis cell of testicular infertility were 60% and 36% respectively, the difference was significant(P0.01).The rate of expression of Livin proteins in the mild, moderate and severe spermatogenesis impairment were 47%,33% and 27% respectively, the difference was significant(P0.05) between mild and severe spermatogenesis impairment. Conclusion Lower expression of Livin proteins may be associated with the pathogenesis and development of testicular infertility, which is expected to become a useful prognostic indicator.
