The Clinical Research of Acupuncture in Treating Spastic Paralysis after Stroke

Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of acupuncture in treating spastic paralysis after stroke.Methods 80 patients with spastic paralysis after stroke were randomly divided into two groups,the control group received rehabilitation training,and the treatment group received acupuncture treatment.Results The total effective rate was 95.0% in the treatment group and 75.0% in the control group.The total effective rate between the two groups had significant difference(P 0.05),there were significant differences in the FMA,BMI scores before and after treatment in both groups,but the observation group had the more significant score increase.Conclusion Acupuncture for the treatment of spastic paralysis after stroke has significant effect,it can improve motor function of patients,it is worthy of clinical application.
