Clinical Observation on Knee Osteoarthritis Treated with Nanxing Compound Analgesic Paste and Diacerein

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Nanxing compound analgesic paste and diacerein on knee osteoarthritis.Methods:All 60patients of knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into two groups with 14days treatment.The treatment group were treated with Nanxing compound analgesic paste and diacerein,while control group with diacerein and capsaicin ointment.Results:At the end of treatment,the knee joint VAS index,WOMAC arthritis scores in pain,stiffness and functional movement of both groups obviously decreased(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion:The combined treatment of Nanxing compound analgesic paste and diacerein is effective,safe and better than the combined treatment of capsaicin ointment and diacerein on knee osteoarthritis with less adverse reaction.
