Studies on the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of the sanyuxiaozhong ointment

Objective To study anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of the sanyuxiaozhong ointment.Methods Different anti-inflammatory and analgesic models were made to investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of the sanyuxiaozhong ointment.Results The resulted of the anti-inflammatory experiments showed that ear edema resulted from dimethyl benzene and paw edema induced by carrageenan were significantly inhibited by the sanyuxiaozhong ointment;and the sanyuxiaozhong ointment also produced obvious analgesic effects on the analgesic model of light-heat stimulation in mice.Conclusion The Sanyuxiaozhong ointment has significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
