Observation of Qutanhuayu capsule on the treatment of dyslipidemia

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Qutanhuayu capsule on the treatment of dyslipidemia.Methods 120 patients with dyslipidemia were randomly divided into two groups.62 patients in treatment group were treated by Qutanhuayu Capsule.58 patients in control group received simvastatin treatment.The course was two months in two groups.Changes of blood lipid and traditional Chinese medicine symptoms before and after treatment in both groups were observed.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 95.16%,and in control group was 93.10%.There was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).There was significant difference between before and after treatment on TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C in two groups(P0.05).There was no difference between two groups after treatment(P0.05).The total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms in treatment group(88.7%) was higher than that in control group(75.9%,P0.05).Conclusion Qutanhuayu Capsule showed excellent performance on blood lipids adjustment and can significantly improve clinical symptoms.
