Expression of Nueropilin-1 in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Its Clinical Significance

Abstract

Objective To explore the expression of nueropilin-1 in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and its clinical value. Methods The expression of nueropilin-1 protein was detected with immunohistochemical SP plus non-hiotin technique in 68 cases of NSCLC and normal lung tissues.The relation between the expression of nueropilin-1 protein and the clinicopathological parameters of NSCLC was analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of nueropilin-1 protein in NSCLC was significantly higher than that in normal lung tissues(P0.05).The expression of nueropilin-1 protein in NSCLC was closely related to tumor diameter,P-TNM stage and lymphnode metastasis(P0.05). Conclusions Nueropilin-1 may play an important role in the oncogenesis and progression of NSCLC,and it may be closely correlated with invasion and metastasis of NSCLC.
