Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of atorvastatin on acute cerebral infarction. Methods 96 cases of acute cerebral infarction in our hospital from Aug.2009 to Jun.2011 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,48 cases in each group. The control group was given salvia miltiorrhiza injection 20mL,1 time a day,for 14 days. The observation group was treated with atorvastatin,20 mg a day,for 14 days based on the control group. The clinical effi cacy of the two groups was observed. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 89.58% and the control group was 68.75%,the difference was statistically signif icant,(P0.05).Conclusion Based on the conventional treatment, the use of atorvastatin in treatment of acute cerebral infarction is better and worthy of clinical application.
