Analysis on the Relationship of the Concentration of Serum Uric Acid and the Frequency of Coronary Artery Disease

Objective To investigate the relationship of the concentration of serum uric acid(UA) and the frequency of coronary artery disease(CHD).Methods 60 cases of patients with coronary artery disease were selected from patients who was in hospital for treatment from January 2007 to February 2008 as a experimental group,and another 60 cases of patients with non-coronary heart disease as a control group.All patients were detected with enzymatic method for the concentration of serum uric acid.The results of two groups were compared,then.Results Compared with the control group,the concentration of serum uric acid of the experimental group rose significantly(P0.05).the concentration of serum uric acid of the experimental group and the coronary artery disease were associated with significant pertinence(P0.05).Conclusion The rise of the concentration of serum uric acid showed close relationship with the frequency of coronary artery disease,so reduction of serum uric acid level is important one link in preventing and treating coronary heart disease.
