Abstract
The performance-based seismic design was researched widely at home and abroad and known as the develop direction for seismic design. In this paper, some problems on performance-based seismic design are systematically collected and summarized, such as the performance levels and the performance objectives. The method of the performance-based seismic design now we used are discussed.
