Abstract
From the theoretical and practical perspective, the thesis probe into the common factors in the industrialization of agriculture. The author maintains: industrialization in rural areas and urbanization are the premise of agricultural industrialization, farmers and agri related enterprises are the principal parts of it, market mechanism is the core of it, technological is the momentum of it, heavy investment is the basic measures of it. The thesis touches upon many problems of agricultural industrialization in China, such as too much intervention, failures of market mechanism, loose relationship between agriculture and non agriculture, weak guarantee on contract, weak driving force of technological advancement, lack of financial investment, etc. The thesis puts forward some countermeasures for these problems, including promotion by pilot enterprise accelerated by opening up driven by technological advancement guided by policies supported by government and etc.
