Abstract

Aim To observe the clinical value of combined determination of three serum markers for diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods The electrochemiluminescence(ECLIA) was adopted to detect the serum level of NSE,CYFRA21-1 and CA125 in 56 patients with lung cancer,30 patients with benign pulmonary diseases and 30 healthy persons. Results The levels of the serum markers in lung cancer group were significantly higher than patients with benign lung disease and healthy controlls. The sensitivities of diangnosis of lung cancer by determination of NSE,CYFRA21-1 and CA125 were 80.3%,78.6% and 91.1%,respectively.The sensitivity for combined detection of NSE,CYFRA21-1 and CA125 was 95.8%,significantly higher than single assay. Conclusion The combined detection of NSE,CYFRA21-1 and CA125 can significantly improve sensitivity and accuracy in diagnosis of lung cancer and might provide valuable laboratory evidence for early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer patients.
