Civil Society and Community Sports Organization Development in China

Adopting method of literature consultation, based on academic theory and real background, this thesis discusses relationship between civil society and community sports organization development, so as to provide some reference to research in this fi eld. Research shows that civil society construction and community sports organization development are internal consistent in aspects of historical process, basic value and driving force. Meanwhile, Chinese civil society provides an unavoidable social background for community sports organization development. As a microscopic organization, community sports organization has been being basic practice field and platform for civil society by providing essential conditions in both material and spirit. Research presents community sports organization development plan from cultivating citizen awareness as well as encouraging role of streets and neighborhood committees.
