The Definition,Formation and Functional Orientation of Community Grassroots’Sports Association

Combining relevant documents,the essay discusses the emergence and roles position of the community grassroots’sports association based on theoretical analysis and the actual background.The result shows: The community grassroots’sports association is the inevitable result of the following evolving events: the development of China’s civil society,the improvement of community’s organizational ability,and the on-going reform and practice of the urban sports management system.On the functional position,community sports grassroots’association is not only one of the association forms which has closest relations to the life of community citizens,but also a new organization factor in China’s sports organization structure which is mainly based on administrative power.At the same time,it is an important measure to enhance community cohesion,an impetus to community resource integration and the real subject of community sports development.The research makes it easier for the government,enterprises and public to understand grassroots sports organizations,change their bias to grassroots’sports organizations and enable them to gain more focus,recognition and supports.
