Abstract

Some problems existed in school routine curriculum can be revealed and some courses can be modified efficiently through the practice of creative curriculum. However some long standing mistaken ideas still exist. Traditional culture has something to do with the existing problem in carrying out school curriculum. This paper analyzes the causes for its emergence from Chinese traditional culture. In the light of modern curriculum theory, some suggestions on the practice of creative curriculum are presented.
