Abstract
The paper makes an elementary analysis and research on phonetic system of West Shu dialect in Han Dynasty.There seldom existed any research in ancient West Shu dialect before owing to lack of materials.This paper analyzes the rhymes and sound of Sichuan dialect in Han Dynasty and reveals development of its phonetic system on the basis of works of several influential litterateurs in Sichuan.
