Evaluation of intervention effect for preventing AIDS/STD among female workers in entertainment service places

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of intervention on AID/STD prevention by health education among female workers servicing in entertaimment places. Methods the female worders fmm 106 entertainment places were investigated for AIDISTh by a questionaire concerning the knowledge and attitude of ALD/STD and condom use before and after the investigation. Results After the intervention the prevalence of STD was decreased and the knowlesge level concerning the prevention of AID/STD and the rate in use of condom when intercourse were increased, Conclusion Health education/ pmmotion and intervention are necessaxy and be carried out frequently for prevention and contnl of AID/STD in the target population.
