Abstract

[Objective]To evaluate the significance of the prenatal diagnosis indications for diagnosis of chromosome disease. To investigate the success rate and safety of prenatal diagnosis.[Methods]A total of 356 cases with prenatal diagnosis were enrolled into this study.Amniotic fluid and fetal blood from them were obtained. And chromosomal karyotypes were determined.[Results]Among 349 cases,7 cases of fetus' chromosomal abnormalities were detected, and the abnormal incidence was 2.01%.In groups of abnormal ultrasonography markers, positive screening of Down's syndrome and advanced maternal age,the abnormal incidences were 27.27%,1.14% and 2.08% respectively, which were higher markedly than in common population. The rate of abortions and premature delivery was 1% by cordocentesis, which was 0 by amniocentesis.[Conclusion]The effectiveness of prenatal diagnosis for diagnosis of chromosome disease can be increased with proper application of prenatal diagnosis indications. And it choose the rational way of the prenatal diagnosis for reducing the complication.
