Abstract
Objective To establish an HPLC quantitative method for the determination of ferulic acid in Huoxuezhitong Solution. Methods An HPLC method was used for determining the content of ferulic acid. The chromatography column was Inertsil ODS-SP C 18(250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) and the column temperature was set at 30 ℃. The mobile phase was acetonitrile-0. 05% phosphoric acid solution(17∶ 83) at a flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1. The detection wavelength was 320 nm. Results The calibration curve of ferulic acid showed a good linear relationship over the range of 1. 77-28. 26 μg·ml1(r =0. 9998). The average recovery of ferulic acid was 100. 22% and RSD was 1. 67%(n = 9). Conclusion This method is simple,accurate,and reproducible. It can be used for the determination of ferulic acid in Huoxuezhitong solution.
