Abstract
This paper takes the evolutionism of green space system as the theory support, and summarizes and analyzes the evolution characteristics and the development tendency about the layout structure of green space system. The paper deeply explored the core idea evolution of four formal approved plans of green space system planning of Shanghai in 1983,1994,2002 and 2012,and compared the changes in planning concept, expansion, structure evolution by using the methods of the data comparison and images analysis, deeply analyzed its characteristics and rule, and also reveals its trend of the development, finally to urban ecological network system. All of these will be helpful for the improvement of existing layout and the green space construction in the future.
