Abstract
As an important part of city, the urban green space represents the interaction between the human beings and the environment. The layout of urban green space is important to fully exert the func- tion of green space and improve the environment. This paper studies the evolution, characteristics, rules and trends of the urban green space layout in Shang- hai in an attempt to promote the comprehensive lay- out of the green space and guide the future planning and construction.
