Abstract

Objective To study the Expression and clinical significance of Ki-67 in ovarian cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistrical SP method was used to detect the expression of Ki-67 in 15 cases of normal ovarian tissue and 15 cases of benign ovarian tumor and 60 cases ovarian cancer. Results Ki-67 was negatively expressed in normal ovarian tissues; The positive rate of Ki-67 was 33.3% in ovarian benign tumor, and was 75.0% in ovarian cancer. The more latter in clinical stage was and the more poorer in cell differentiation was,the more higher positive rate of Ki-67 was.The positive rate of Ki-67 was correlated with histodifferemtiation and clinical stages of ovarian cancer, but was uncorrelated with the pathological type. Conclusion Ki-67 played an important role in the development of ovarian cancer.
