Abstract

Classicism in the 20th century in the history of modern Chinese literature has experienced the periods of spreading,rooting,edging,sheltering,and opening up.This paper discusses the historical situation of Classicism in China,and tries to provide the effective materials and literatures to help better understand the Classicism theory and to update the textbooks so as to broaden the vision of analyzing modern Chinese literature and bring beneficial enlightenment on this topic.
