Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of the orthodontic treatment of maxillary protrusion with microsrew implant anchorage and traditional anchorage. Methods A total of 132 cases patients of maxillofacial malformation were randomly divided into the microsrew implant anchorage group and the traditional anchorage group. To compare the efficiency and severe adverse reactions for two groups. Results The edge of the upper of the microsrew implant anchorage group incisors were retracted 4.88 mm and 4.31mm,the molar moved anteriorly 1.14 mm averagely. The edge of the upper of the microsrew implant anchorage group incisors were retracted 3.48 mm and 3.24 mm,the molar moved anteriorly 2.43 mm averagely. The difference of U1-NA(mm)、L1-NB(mm)、U1-APg and U6-PtPNS before and after treating between both groups was statistically significant(t = 6.76,5.34,5.09,10.22, P 0.05).The incidence rate of the intervention group was lower than the control group,it has statistical sense(P 0.05), The outcomes(except redissovled) of the intervention group was lower than the control group,it has statistical sense(P 0.05). Conclusion The microsrew implant anchorage can reach the clinical demand, improve the relationship of occlusion in the intercuspal position and the efficiency of orthodontic.
