Critics & Reconstruction of System of Modern Universities

the system of modern university to meet the developing needs of era should accord with the basic characteristic of the university.To possess the distinct characteristics of era,it should be the unification of globalization and the localization.However,serious problems outburst in today's universities in China where critic spirit is of much lack,teaching and scientific research is out of balanced and evaluation system is not fully established.The reconstruction to the system of modern universities should foster the spirit of the distinct characteristics of Chinese universities,deal with the relationship between government,the society and the university.Furthermore,the regulations should be improved,assessment and sound research systems should be established and the relationship of academic power and administrative power should be adjusted in universities.
