Clinical research of Xihuangxiaoliu Capsule on patients with esophageal cancer

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Xihuangxiaoliu Capsule on esophageal cancer.Methods 200 patients with esophageal cancer were randomly divided into two groups.112 patients in the treatment group were administered Xihuangxiaoliu Capsule and 188 patients in the control group orally took Xihuangwan Capsule.Clincal effect was observed in six months after treatment in both groups.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group was 86.61% and 77.27% respectively,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Xihuangxiaoliu Capsule has a definite effect on esophageal cancer.
