Clinical efficacy of integrative medicine on treatment of refractory peptic ulcer

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical efficacy of integrative medicine on treatment of refractory peptic ulcer.METHODS A total of 200 patients with refractory peptic ulcer enrolled to hospital from Jan to Dec 2009 were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group with 100 cases in each.The patients of the two groups were given western medicine after diagnosis,and research group based on the use in this traditional Chinese medicine,and clinical efficacy other indicators of the two groups were compared and analyzed.RESULTS The cure rate in study group was 47.0%,and the total efficiency was 96.0%,compared with 34.0% and 84.0% respectively in control group,the study group was apparently improved;the inefficiency in study group was 4.0%,which was remarkably decreased when comparing with 16.0% in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);the recurrence rate was 4.0% in the study group,which was significantly lower than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSION The clinical efficacy of integrative medicine on treatment of refractory peptic ulcer is accurate and obvious,and it has great clinical significance for the patients with refractory peptic ulcer.
