Abstract
Objective To evaluate clinical efficacy and safety of 2% Fusidic acid cream in the treatment of children′s impetigo. Methods 100 patients were enrolled in the test and were divided into 2 groups, 2% Fusidic acid cream was applied topically to the affected areas of the body three times daily for 7days in the treatment group. 2% mupirocin cream was applied topically to the affected areas of the body three times daily for 7days in the control group. Result The effective rate of treatment group was 94%, that for the control was 92%. The difference in clinical efficacy of either group was not statistically significant. There was no any adverse effect observed in the test. Conclusion There is satisfactory clinical efficacy and safety when 2% Fusidic acid cream or 2% mupirocin was treated in children′s impetigo.
