Abstract
Objective:To sum up the clinical experience in treatment of patients with severe acute left ventricular failure(ALVF)using invasive mechanical ventilation. Methods:A retrospective analysis was carried out of the effect of invasive mechanical ventilation applied to 15 patients with severe ALVF in intensive care unit. Results:The 15 patients freed themselves from the ventilator successfully with no complications induced by hypoxia or invasive mechanical ventilation;the cure rate and the survival rate were 100%.Conclusions:Timely application of invasive mechanical ventilation in addition to rutine therapy is essential for the management of patients with severe ALVF.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
