Abstract
Objective To study the expression and significance of MRP, GST π and LRP in human gastric carcinoma. Methord Immunohistochemistry was used to examine the MRP, GST π and LRP expression in 90 cases of gastric carcinoma and 30 cases of normal stomach tissues. Results The positive rates of MRP, GST π and LRP were all significantly higher than those in normal tissue, with 92.2%,99.0% and 93.3% respectively in gastric carcinoma. The expression of these proteins in high moderate differented adenocarcinoma was all significantly higher than that in pooly differented adenocarcinoma and mucoid carcinoma. The expression of MRP, GST π and LRP was negetively correlated to lymph nodal metastasis and the depth of invasion. Conclusions MRP, GST π and LRP are significantly higher expressed in gastric carcinoma, and this may indicate the primary multidrug resistence of gastric carcinoma.
