Prevention and Management of Complication of Transurethral Resection of Prostate

Abstract

Objective To review the complications of the transurethral resction of prostate (TURP) to improve the effect. Methods 332 sympomatic BPH patients took TURP. 6-month follow-up was taken to investigate the complications and their disposal. Results No patient died, TURS 5 cases, postoperative bleed 3 cases, temporary incontinence 6 cases, urine bladder neck crispation 3 case, the surgical operation rear row urine is difficult 3 case, urethral stricture 13 cases. Conclusion The complications of TURP may be decreased by accurate operation and reliable management of infection.
