Analysis about Shanxi Merchants' Participation in Local Education——Research based on Local Chronicles

People offen connect Shanxi Merchants with grand houses,immaculately dressed decorations,luxury life,and ably skilled business.But most of the researches on Shanxi Merchants were focused on business which weren't out of the area of economy.There was little research on the condition in which Shanxi Merchants lived and their relationship with the public areas.With the rise and development of the study of social history,perspective on the research of Shanxi Merchants has become spread.Based on the Local Chronicles of Shanxi,this paper discusses on the Shanxi Merchants' participation in local education by the way of the research of social history simply.
